A+R Engagement Photos in Page Springs AZ
"If you'll be my soft and sweet ...I'll be your strong and steady... you'll be my glass of wine.... I'll be your shot of whiskey..." If you like country, you will probably like this engagement shoot!
What better place to do a western engagement shoot then at a big barn located just outside of Sedona Arizona, down a dirt road in Page Springs? As soon as I pulled into the driveway I could see exactly why Ashleigh chose this location for her engagement photos. We were surrounded by a blue sky's, clouds, dirt roads, and horses. To be honest although we did have some blue sky's most of the day was pouring rain except for a perfect window of time during our photo-shoot. But whats more romantic then kissing in the rain?
The natural light filtered through the clouds to make an ideal lighting situation for portraits. Plus the colors around tend to pop and I love that! The barn made a perfect backdrop for both beautiful color and black & white photos!
...and with every farm or barn there will be dogs. They loved trying to photo bomb the picture ;)
I love the smiles that Ashleigh would give Randall every time they were about to kiss! We had such an amazing time photographing these two! Their lively energy is contagious and their love is sweet and fun. I feel so happy to be the one to document their love story.
Ashleigh and Randall had eye's on one another as soon as they met. Randall stopped by her house to do some electrical work. After talking they became friends immediately but Ashleigh was seeing another guy at the time. Naturally they were just friends for a while but as time went by and her other relationship faded and passed by, their love started to blossom! They hung out more and more until on Feb 23rd Randall asked Ashleigh to be his girl!
There is nothing like the guy that will pull you in for and kiss and then sweep you off your feet!
Ashleigh is an animal lover like I am! She originally wanted her horses to be a part of this shoot but decided to be safe then sorry and leave them at home because of the storm blowing in. Luckily they had a friendly horse come up to them during the shoot and we got a few with him! However, I know how important her horses are to her and I promised her we would do more photos with her horses another time. If your loving these then you can look forward to seeing more soon! I am looking forward to documenting their wedding day and incorporating more horses!
To Randall and Ashleigh thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me and my wonderful team to be such an important part of this whole wedding process and experience!
