It's always a pleasure working along side other artists and creatives like myself and Sophia Angles is no doubt one of my favorites to photograph! I love her beautiful spirit and it's easy to see that her beauty truly shines from the inside out. Her upbeat dance-worthy soulful music is all about the real shit that happens when moving in and out of relationships.

A new year means new goals and endeavor for me! In 2019 I will be making and launching a online course on how to photograph and market yourself as a yoga instructor and/or entrepreneur. Blending my three passions of photography, marketing, and teaching yoga.
I have watched online courses for years and years and finally felt that my time has come to make one. Not knowing exactly where to start I felt it was best to start teaming up with and co-collaborating with good friends and Yoga instructors living in Sedona.
My first project and filming began with the beautiful Amber Martinez from Vita Pura Yoga https://www.vitapurayoga.com/
As you can imagine we had a lot of fun at her home studio space taking stills, lifestyle portraits, and portraits of her while she was doing her practice.
I had a wonderful morning getting to know this little puppy named Boon! Isn't she precious? I always enjoy photographing puppies and couples. Kaleo and I also loved spending some time getting to know Marc & Heather and for once it wasn't at Aumbase Sedona or SYF. If you haven't heard about the Sedona Yoga Festival ... you should check it out! They do a fantastic job running it and making it super special =)
Working with Monica in Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona was nothing but fun and delightful. She is a charismatic entrepreneur who is also super professional and creative. Those are traits I LOVE and so it’s no wonder when we came together magic happened! When we first met to talk about manifesting the photoshoot she showed me her Pinterest board she had created. It had examples of the photos that were elegant, entrepreneurial, natural, spiritual and magical. She was looking to use deep purples (royal) and lighter blues with a possible accent of golds because they are the colors for her brand. I was super attracted to all of the ones that had a fairy-tale green blurred backdrops and used natural light.
It's valuable to take time to connect with people you admire. It’s enriching to spend time with people who live life vivaciously. IT’S IMPORTANT to step into someone els’s shoes to gain a new perspective. Woah! What an epic week this was! I am feeling grateful.
Spending time at Milk and Honey BnB in North Carolina was rejuvenating because the focus was on animals, good food, and great friends. Those are all three things that are near and dear to my heart!
You will notice that I loved taking pictures of the goats, chickens, dogs, horses, bunnies, baby lamb, the adventurous baby girl! I think it would be kinda fun to be raised on a farm! May one day I’ll have chickens and goats too =)
Thank you Surya & Chris for being the amazing people you are and hosting us like family! I had fun playing with your baby doll and all the sweet animals!
For the last few months I have had the pleasure of working with the beautiful musician Sophia Angeles and the AMAZING hair and make-up artist local here in Sedona ....Patricia Vega! Sophia and I always have fun together! The last two times we worked together we went to at least four different locations around Sedona. I looked for many different kinds of lighting situations and backdrops to compliment her hair and eyes. Through movement, jokes, silence, and stillness I was able to get some of her most gorgeous expressions!
