Maggie and Phil are an amazing and beautiful couple. We felt so grateful for being asked to capture their intimate Sedona wedding. A dear friend of theirs offered to host on their beautiful, juniper and cacti filled property as the ceremony spot. The adventurous couple wanted a secluded spot with 360 degree views for their portrait session. We suggested a few private locations. In the end, they chose to go with Mystic Vista in Sedona, despite the small hike required. What a gorgeous couple, and love filled day!
The morning started off with an amazing thunderstorm, with big lighting and stunning sunrise colors. Luckily, the storm cleared to sunny skies. The ceremony was a native inspired celebration of their love, surrounded by their closest friends and family. After the ceremony, they had a delicious brunch on the patio. We met up with the couple again before sunset for the bride and groom portraits. We started at Fay Canyon Trail and captured great moments. We then headed towards Mystic Vista, but we had a problem. The bride had forgotten to bring some sneakers for the small hike! She was adamant to get to the vista, and so we reluctantly agreed to attempt it. I have never seen someone hike so well in heels. The couple was rewarded with a beautiful views at the top, making great photographs and memories. We left them to finish off their perfect day with at the famous Enchantment Resort, where they had their reception dinner with their loved ones.
Blessings and happy travels to the both of them!
Arizona and Chris eloped at Creekside Inn. It was a perfect sunshiny day with lots of big trees, beautiful greenery , and nature as their chapel. After the ceremony and photos around the creekside inn property they enjoyed a drink and some delicious homemade cake. Afterwards they joined my photography team and I to take photos on a trail in sedona. The trail had beautiful red rock backdrops. Their easy going personalities made it fun to photograph them and their happiness as a newly weds was easy to see!

From the start we have had a blast getting to know Jenni and Tyler! Talk about a fun, sweet, talented and outgoing couple! Thanks to Andrew at Heart of Sedona Wedding we had the opportunity to meet! We absolutely loved being there to photograph their elopement at Merry Go Round in Sedona AZ. The Pink Jeep Tour ride up was wonderful and everyone was all smiles and laughter. We found out that they are videographers from Delaware. Their websites are www.valliantartistry.com and www.tylervalliant.com. It was obvious they chose a sacred place because we were surrounded by stunning views of Sedona’s Rocks. The days following their elopement Kaleo and I met up with Jenni and Tyler at Creekside coffee and became friends! Now they are going to do the videography for our Wedding next year in September!!!
My favorite part of photographing Joanna and Josh was noticing the attention and love they had for one another. Joanna was full of elegance and smiles. Josh had tears of happiness and a loving gaze on his Bride at all times. Their elopement at Creekside Inn was full of genuine moments and a beautiful creekside backdrops!
Nancy and Patrick were all smiles at their Creekside Inn Elopement in Sedona. I loved photographing the rings, the bouquet by Sedona Mountain High Flowers, and how stunning and happy the Bride and Groom looked!
Jaqueline and Shayne had a super sweet elopement at Creekside Inn in Sedona Arizona. I loved her rosey dress, beautiful tiara, and brightly colored bouquet by Sedona Mountain High Flowers !
The rain didn’t keep the smiles away! The ceremony was held outside under a gazebo with cloudy skies and Sedona backdrops all around. As soon as the bride walked down the aisle it was as if the cold stopped and everyone could feel the warmth between the two. Rachel and Christopher are obviously madly in love and it made everyone happy. Although there may have been a few teeth chattering, I think the rainstorm was a blessing on their wedding day. Besides the saying that rain brings good luck to the newlyweds, the storm also allowed me to take breathtaking photos of the couple with a dramatic desert storm backdrop.
Mark and Beth decided to elope intimately and alone in the beautiful Sedona, Arizona. My favorite part of photographing this elopement was that it was practically right next door to my house in a beautiful BnB. Their day was cloudy but that didn’t keep the joy and love away. Beth and Marks smiling faces were priceless!
Her beautiful bouquet was full of lovely succulents and perfect accent flowers from Sedona Mountain High Flowers.
There are few things as intimate and romantic as eloping. Add Sedona’s Creekside Inn plus the most important people in your life and you get the lovely elopement of Kelly and Charles. Originally, they had wanted to elope to Italy just the two of them but once their kids caught wind of it there was no way to get married without them. So, they googled destination weddings and found the perfect setting… Creekside Inn at Sedona. They both live in California, love surprises, and spontaneity. True to form they decided not to let each other see the rings until the day of elopement.
As soon as we got to Creekside Inn I photographed the beautiful rings and other lovely details of the day. After some shots of all the guys looking dapper, it was off to see the girls helping Kelly with her dress, final touch ups, hugs, and kisses. Kelly was gorgeous! Her hair and make up was done by The Sedona Beauty Team.
