Liz and Tom are such loving and caring people, and we loved being there capturing their wedding at Courtyard by Marriott Sedona. I had known Liz’s mother, Barbara, from the Sedona Dog Park. We got to know each other over watching our dogs play with each other. She introduced me to her engaged daughter, and I met Liz over some sweet, lavender lattes at Creekside Coffee!
Liz was so fun to get to know! We discovered our mutual love of animals, and dogs in particular. I also learned just how much she loves Sedona, and was so excited for her and Tom that they were able to have their wedding here!
Maggie and Phil are an amazing and beautiful couple. We felt so grateful for being asked to capture their intimate Sedona wedding. A dear friend of theirs offered to host on their beautiful, juniper and cacti filled property as the ceremony spot. The adventurous couple wanted a secluded spot with 360 degree views for their portrait session. We suggested a few private locations. In the end, they chose to go with Mystic Vista in Sedona, despite the small hike required. What a gorgeous couple, and love filled day!
The morning started off with an amazing thunderstorm, with big lighting and stunning sunrise colors. Luckily, the storm cleared to sunny skies. The ceremony was a native inspired celebration of their love, surrounded by their closest friends and family. After the ceremony, they had a delicious brunch on the patio. We met up with the couple again before sunset for the bride and groom portraits. We started at Fay Canyon Trail and captured great moments. We then headed towards Mystic Vista, but we had a problem. The bride had forgotten to bring some sneakers for the small hike! She was adamant to get to the vista, and so we reluctantly agreed to attempt it. I have never seen someone hike so well in heels. The couple was rewarded with a beautiful views at the top, making great photographs and memories. We left them to finish off their perfect day with at the famous Enchantment Resort, where they had their reception dinner with their loved ones.
Blessings and happy travels to the both of them!
From the moment I started talking to Brigitte and Prashant I knew their day was going to be magical! They wanted to celebrate two cultures by doing an Indian style wedding ceremony followed by a traditional ceremony and reception. We couldn't be more honored or excited to document their day and as you can see by their pictures there was an outpour of love! They were both sweethearts to communicate with from the start. On their wedding day they were glowing with love and laughter!

The wedding dress and rings were beautiful and everything at the wedding was made with lots of care & love! I was in awe of the details and food being prepared. The decor and food made the house more gorgeous then it already was!
This was one of my favorite weddings of the AZ winter season to photograph! I had photographed this couple before and so I already knew great things were in store for us! They also chose to have their wedding at the beautiful Four Seasons Scottsdale Arizona! I was in photography heaven with the beautiful mountains and saguaro cactus all around ... not to mention the stunning Bride, handsome Groom, and their cute little baba. =)
Thank you K+D for making me feel so welcome! You two are super easy to photograph and I can't wait to see you again for a future family photo shoot!
The rain didn’t keep the smiles away! The ceremony was held outside under a gazebo with cloudy skies and Sedona backdrops all around. As soon as the bride walked down the aisle it was as if the cold stopped and everyone could feel the warmth between the two. Rachel and Christopher are obviously madly in love and it made everyone happy. Although there may have been a few teeth chattering, I think the rainstorm was a blessing on their wedding day. Besides the saying that rain brings good luck to the newlyweds, the storm also allowed me to take breathtaking photos of the couple with a dramatic desert storm backdrop.
Mark and Beth decided to elope intimately and alone in the beautiful Sedona, Arizona. My favorite part of photographing this elopement was that it was practically right next door to my house in a beautiful BnB. Their day was cloudy but that didn’t keep the joy and love away. Beth and Marks smiling faces were priceless!
Her beautiful bouquet was full of lovely succulents and perfect accent flowers from Sedona Mountain High Flowers.
Heather and Randall’s wedding day was a perfect mixture of all the things that matter most to them… spirituality, music, signing, family, friends, fun, love, partying, dancing, food & drinks, sparklers, and more dancing.
The outdoor location they chose for their ceremony and reception has huge sentimental value as it’s right across from their loving home.
Heather put a lot of time and energy into organizing everything and making sure the focus would be both on the ceremony and the celebration afterwards. It was obvious she wanted all of her loved ones to feel blessed and have an amazing time celebrating. The pictures show just how successful she was!
As guests arrived they were ritually fanned in sage smoke with a feather wand to clear away any negativity and bring in an abundance of love and joy in preparation for the ceremony.
Ben and Kelly’s relationship was kismet. They were invited by a mutual friend to go hiking the upper Salt River to a beautiful waterfall. Kelly almost didn't go but something inside her made her reconsider. Little did she know she would meet "her person" There was an instant connection and it changed the direction of their lives. As Ben drove to the river he played his favorite music including Bob Marley, Incubus, and Pearl Jam. As fate would have it, those were some of Kelly's favorite bands too. Ben felt different around Kelly; her smile, sense of humor, and loving spirit intrigued him. Ben wanted to make sure Kelly was safe the whole day. He helped her cross the slippery rocks and they later shared laughs over Mexican food. Before the night was over Kelly asked Ben for his number so she could send him some photos of their adventure. Ben used this opportunity to ask Kelly out the following night and this began a budding passionate connection that seemed it was "meant to be."
Their first date, the very next night, was so dreamy that they didn’t notice getting soaked by misters and Kelly lost all track of time. They began spending almost every day together. Their friendship grew and with it a romantic connection. They would sit and talk, slow dance in the living room, and stare into each other's eyes while listening to playlists they created to express all their "feelz."
Ben surprised Kelly with his proposal during a staycation that turned into a full on celebration with family and friends he had secretly invited. Finally, Ben and Kelly chose Sedona for their outdoor wedding for its beauty, healing, and energizing properties which brings us to their wedding day…
As I drove through the canyon to the Oak Creek Luxury Cabins, I noticed it was a very popular day to be in the canyon because Kelly and Ben chose one of the most beautiful times of the year to get
married there. The tree leaves were turning shades of yellows and reds complimented by the natural greens of the plants. The red rock walls all around added to the splendor. I could tell Kelly put a lot of thought and time into her invitations and wedding plans. She even attached fresh lavender sprigs to the invites!
The rings were beautiful and fun to photograph but when I saw the wedding dress... I melted. I loved the lace AND the style. The dress looked even more perfect once Kelly slipped it on. She and all her girls also made these beautiful green braided leaf crowns that went perfectly with the lavender colors of their dresses and bouquets.
