Who doesn’t love a great coffee shop?! I know I do. I also know our new clients Raimie and Rob love a good coffee shop. When I suggested the lovely Creekside Coffee in Sedona for our consultation meeting they knew exactly which coffee shop I was talking about. They had been there before on one of their prvious dates to Sedona.
Right away, I felt a great connection to them both. They smiled a lot, laughed a lot, and were so easy to
converse with. It felt like it was match made in heaven to be working with them! After a little getting-to-
know-you conversation, we decided to plan the engagement photos.
They met through an app called "Coffee Meets Bagel." Raimie and Rob started their first date by going on a lovely hike. After that they continued to see each other by doing things they both enjoy like exploring the outdoors, going rock climbing, square dancing, and taking other dance classes. Kaleo and I couldn't help smiling because their stories sounded all too familiar. We also love do things like rock climbing, playing sports, hiking, and dancing on our dates and especially in our first year together. With all this in mind we decided to take them to Sedona’s West Fork Trail as well as another trail with more Red Rock views for their engagement photo shoot.
As you can see in the pictures we had glorious weather. We also took advantage of the natural Autumnal colors just beginning to show up. Look at all the greens and browns in the field of ferns! Raimie’s purple dress was outstanding at giving us a pop of color that also pulled out the more subtle purple shades in the landscape.
Remember how I told you that this couple likes dancing? Check out their playful poses in the creek! It was like scenes out of Dirty Dancing! Their ease, grace, and joy show up in each and every photo.
Making our day with Raimie and Rob even more fun, they brought along their two adorable and energized puppy dogs, Savannah and Randall, whom I LOVED right away…of course. The pups could not be neglected in the photos, after all they’re family. We enjoyed their company so much that after the photo shoot was done we decided to go get our doggie and meet up with them at the dog park before their journey home to Tempe.
After spending the day with Raimie and Rob (and the dogs) I have no doubt their wedding day is going to be filled with tears, laughter, and above all LOVE. I am so happy for them and what they are creating
together as a family. We’re looking forward to the wedding shoot! ;-)
